LYNDSEY COOPER – CO-FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL
Lyndsey Cooper is a Principal and Co-Founder of Carma Connected, South Florida’s most well respected and established Communications firms. Lyndsey has a wealth of experience in the lifestyle, entertainment hospitality and real estate arenas. In 2005, Lyndsey relocated to Miami from New York City where she was public relations director at Ocean Drive magazine.
Prior to moving to Miami, Lyndsey was a Vice President at Rubenstein PR, where she specialized in rapid-response publicity for highly visible clients such as Donald Trump’s properties, Halstead Properties, musician and producer Wyclef Jean and many more.
Lyndsey attended the University of Miami and The Fashion Institute of Technology where she received a degree in Marketing. She resides in Miami with her husband and two children and is active member of The JAFCO organization in South Florida.
CHAD FABRIKANT – CO-FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL
Chad Fabrikant is a Principal and co-founder of Carma Connected one of the most well respected and established communication firms in South Florida. With almost a decade of experience in the public relations and talent management industries in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, Chad has become a market leader, and a go-to source for top national, and international media focusing on the South Florida market.
Prior to starting Carma Connected, Chad was an Associate Vice President at Rubenstein PR in New York City where he oversaw corporate lifestyle accounts such as FAO Schwartz and Trump International . A graduate of the University of Miami with a degree in theater production & music business and an MBA with a specialization in Entrepreneurship from Nova Southeastern University, Chad Fabrikant now publicizes top hospitality, culinary and lifestyle clients.
In addition to Chad’s high paced entertainment and hospitality work, he volunteers with the University of Miami’s Launch Pad program for young entrepreneurs and mentors adopted/foster college students with the Jafco Organization of South Florida.
ASHLEY JIMENEZ-GONZALEZ – VICE PRESIDENT
Ashley Jimenez-Gonzalez is a Vice President at Carma Connected overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations including overall media relation strategy, the management of teams and select spirits, culinary, and lifestyle accounts. Ashleyhas been a part of the Carma Connected team for over seven years and has lead and executed various successful campaigns ranging from the launch of The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Downtown Miami, AFROHEAD Rum in the Florida, New York, and Tennessee markets to the opening of several gastronomic hotspots such as Bulla Gastrobar, Pisco y Nazca, Sugar Factory (various locations), and special projects including MegaCon Orlando and Tampa Bay.
Ashley began her career in New York City working at Rodale Inc. and Maguire Steele then moving on to Miami as Events Manager at Normas 180 in Coral Gables by Chef Norman Van Aken before joining Carma Connected.
Ashley received her bachelor of arts in communications arts with a concentration in public relations and a minor in Hispanic studies from Marymount Manhattan College. She is a board member of Friends of St. Jude Miami Chapter and handles the organization of all fundraising side events and the annual gala.
YAMI ALVARADO – VICE PRESIDENT
Yami Alvarado is a Vice President at Carma Connected and brings more than 14 years of experience in public relations, marketing and communications to the team. At Carma Connected, Yami oversees the public relations and media strategies for top tier lifestyle clients including The Setai Miami Beach, 1 Hotel South Beach and Menin Hospitality to name a few. Yami’s savvy business sense and relationship skills are a force at Carma PR.
Prior to joining Carma in 2013, Yami was senior account director at Diamond Public Relations where she managed award-winning campaigns for hotels and resorts including Marco Island Marriott, Santa Barbara Beach Resort Curacao and The Angler’s Boutique Resort South Beach. As a South Florida native, she has her finger on the pulse of city handling A-list red carpet events to working with charities including the Special Olympics of South Florida, where she is currently the Public Relations Committee Chair.
Yami holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Central Florida.
